ON THE ROAD AGAIN

ROXANNE AND LINDA...ON THE ROAD AGAIN!

This is our destination and where Roxanne lives and where I will spend my last week in Ontario

We went out to visit my brother Mike and my sis in law Wanda at their lovely place and get caught up on more family news of this and that.

Mike and Wanda's home is like a park!! Mike says it's too much work now, and thinking of downsizing. Then Mike took us out to dinner in Ft. Erie, to this fabulous restaurant where they piled enough food on our plates to last a week. We all walked out with "doggie bags" It was delicious!

Then Roxanne and I were invited for dinner at Roxanne's good friends, John and Michelle's place. Wonderful People! Nice picture of Michelle and John, Michelle and Roxanne never stopped with the joking all night. Fun time!!

I got loved to death by two dogs!

Roxanne making hamburgers for the party! We had to take turns mixing in the ingredience, the hamburger was so cold, our hands would ache! They turned out delicious!

The party stash was starting to grow! This was the beginning and at the end, the floor was nearly covered, and every spare counter and table space had food on it, ready for the partyThe guests have arrived and the party in full swing!

ANOTHER DAY IN BELLEVILLE, ONTARIO

Unlocking my travel diary for you!

I'm sitting here listening to the Presidential Debate as I write this, so if it doesn't sound right, it's because, my mind is in two places and I've lost the ability to do a couple of things at one time...old age again!! Ask me who is running in the Canadian elections, and yes, I know, but find it all sooooo boring!!! So, I may just add some pictures of what I did in Belleville and St. Catharines without much descriptions.

My son in law, Richard, and my grandsons, Matt and Bradley met for dinner one night, which was enjoyable.
The cute gal in the blue is Erica, Matthews girlfriend. She is so sweet and blushes so easily I liked her instantly!
No explantion needed on who these guys are that we seen. Great show!!!

Was so excited and they kept moving around the stage, that I had my camera on the wrong setting!!! DAMN

Meanwhile, my Grandson Brad, went off to Ottawa, with his very cute girlfriend Kate, to a wedding. What a cute couple eh?

We went over to my wonderful friend Norma's house for a nice visit and she also allowed us to leave TJ, Roxanne's dog, there, while we went shopping. (This isn't Norma's house, that picture didn't turn out!

Above: This is my Granddaughters we kidnapped from school one morning and took them for breakfast, shopping and to my favourite place, Tim Hortons, before we returned them back to school. Erica is in Gr. 9 and Sarah in Gr. 5

Look at that RED hair!!! I wonder where inherited that from!!! She's beautiful now, can you see in in a few years!! Ohhh her poor parents!

Sarah , with dimples you could sink a ship in. I used to sit in school when I was her age, longing for dimples and would sit all day with my two fingers stuck in my cheeks, hoping I'd have dimples!! She's adorable!!! Both are really nice, well mannered young ladies and a joy to be with. I regret not being there to watch and enjoy them growing up.

Well, that's it for Belleville, because, tomorrow, we go to St. Catharines!! Want to join me there? There's going to be a party!!!!!!

HOME SWEET HOME

I'm home!!! How sweet it is!! Don't get me wrong, I had a delightful time in Ontario and did a zillion fun things! But vacationing is very hard work, just being out of your own comfort zone and away from the familiar is always a touch stressfull, and it's just good to be home again. Especially, when someone you love is missing you and wanting you back ASAP!!

Picture taken shortly after take-off. Beautiful snow capped mountains and I flew the friendly skies with WestJet.

Roxanne and TJ picked me up at the Toronto airport and within five minutes we we're giggling and laughing hysterically as we made our way to Belleville and to my daughters new home where we were staying.

It's a beautiful home, inside and out!

My grandson Brad, played us some tunes he wrote. He's fabulous!!!! Cute too!!

Lisa, Roxanne and the other person I don't know, had a few drinks, got silly, laughed lots and did some family bonding!! We are all nuts!!
Next day we went to visit with my other daughter Erin, hubby Peter and granddaughters Erica and Sarah

Watched the kids on the trampoline and even tried it myself!! Ouch, Ouch, Ouch...sorry no pictures, but you could bribe Roxanne for a video of it, which is absolutely hillarious....to those watching!!
Went out for dinner, ate too much and laughed often! Some friends and I met for lunch. Lynn, Lisa, Maryanne, Marilyn,Norma, John and Clare

And this was only day THREE! More to tell you about tomorrow with some great pictures. I can't write anymore right now, as I've got much to do, just being home and a husband that needs some attention too, with my nose out of this computer screen. I have to save myself for SURVIVOR tonight also!! Last chance for those who want in the Survivor pool.
