WEEKEND FUN

 

This was a weekend full of good company, good food and a fun time.

Family Time!!!

It was a lovely weekend! Gallon’s of rain fell from the skies, but that doesn’t stop people from Vancouver! What’s a little rain eh?

I can’t even remember what we did on Friday, but I’m sure it involved eating out somewhere! Saturday, we where invited to Tom’s sister Belle, and husband Ken’s for dinner, which as always was delicious. Belle’s daughter and family came over after dinner and it was great to see them all again, and listen to Darren’s funny tale about their camping trip, spoiled by pelting rain. It just kept getting funnier by the minute and we had a great laugh!

Sunday, we got all dressed up to go to a birthday reception for a 90 year old lady who lives in this building. So, off we went and as we approached the building where it was to be held, we wondered why so many parking spaces where available. We could see the balloons down the hallway, but no people yet! It ended up, we we’re at the right place, only a day late!! Talk about feeling stupid! So we came back and went to her door to apologize and tell her what happened. Anyway…Happy 90th Birthday Peggy!!!

Then Martin and Joan came over for dinner and we did some more eating, visiting and good conversation and trying to keep up with Joan’s wit!! What fun she is!

So, that was our weekend, in a nutshell!!

I’m off for a walk now before the storm clouds, which are gathering quickly, begin to let loose with rain.
