What a BEAUTIFUL day! A great day to be alive….at least for me! But, poor Tom has the pain in his groin back again which of course always begins to bother him on a weekend when his doctor isn’t available. The poor guy, has been throwing up with the pain!! We get to see the specialist tomorrow. They “think”, it’s a hernia, but the doctor is having a hard time detecting it, and the ultrasounds seem very fickle in what they reveal each time. So Tom was told to come back for examination when the pain started again, but, like I mentioned……it’s Murphy’s Law, it happens on a weekend! Hopefully, he will figure out what to do with Tom when he see’s him tomorrow, and hopefully the hernia is in a “pop out” stage!!!
When Tom was withering in pain, I had to take this picture which to me looked like a pretty scene of the ship on the water. I think it was the clouds I liked and the different layers of colour. (Actually, Tom was feeling better at this point and drinking coffee)
It was so glorious outdoor, I just had to get out and enjoy it. Tom was snoozing, so I went for a walk.
These following pictures I took at Mosquito Creek Park. It’s a beautiful trail through the woods, heavily populated with people out enjoying the day and walking their dogs. (I’ve never yet seen a Mosquito there!)
What is a walk in the woods, without a babbling brook? Picture perfect!!
I’m standing on a cute little wooden bridge, looking each way. One side in the shade, the other the sun.
I could spend all day here! It’s so serene, peaceful and a little bit of heaven! I love nature and this is such a great spot to be!
OHHH NOOO!!! I spoke too soon. All of a sudden the woods became alive with the sound of children…lot’s of children!
However they pushed past me very quickly and where gone….thank goodness!!
SO PRETTY!!
And that was my day in the woods!!!
Some more wonderful photos... merci Linda !
